The First Lady of the Lebanese Republic, Mrs. Nehmat Aoun, is laying the foundation for a unified national standard for school citizenship, a cornerstone in cultivating a new generation of engaged citizens. The School of Citizenship initiative was born from this vision, grounded in the belief that schools are the cradle of citizenship and the heart of communities where everything begins. To reinforce the role of schools in society, the First Lady is building a coalition of international, regional, and local stakeholders to align efforts and unify the national vision for citizenship education.
